First of all, we would like to thank everyone who sent in an entry. We appreciate all the effort put into your work. Unfortunately there can only be one winner.The winner of the Logo Contest for the 2009 Alpena Music Festival is Anna Konwinski of Spruce Michigan. Anna will receive a framed print of her entry, two weekend passes to the festival and a t-shirt featuring the winning logo.Thanks Anna.

FRIENDS OF THE ALPENA BLUES COALITION                

              

  The Sunrise Food Coalition was established to address food and hunger issues in Northeast Michigan. They are dedicated to providing opportunities for pantries, shelters and meal programs to access fresh food and nutritional information; creating growth and educational opportunities for at-risk youth; and strengthening our community's ability to support our food needs through local sources.

Welcome to:

ALPENA MUSIC FESTIVAL 2009

This years festival will be a two day event. Friday June 26th & Saturday June 27th. This decision was made as a result of the poor economy and last year's bad weather. We're still going to have a great festival this year, just a little smaller. We will keep you up to date as far as band selection. So far we have "Stand Back" an Allman Brothers Tribute Band featuring the famed Matt Besey."Check it out"

Also, one of this years headliners will be, Studebaker John & the Hawks with Lazy Lester.  Don't miss this rare opportunity to see this fantastic group. This group was brought together exclusively for the Alpena Blues Festival, thanks to Jay Reil & Associates. Jay Reil & Associates
